Under the supervision of the President of the Middle Technical University Prof. Dr. Abdulmohsin Naji Mohaisen, and Headed by the Dean of Electrical Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Adel A. Obed, the Electrical Engineering Technical College holds the 5th Scientific Conference for Engineering and Postgraduate Research in 21-22 of December 2020 Baghdad-Iraq. This conference is going to discuss mainly engineering topics and research of post-graduate students to promote information exchange among students and faculty. The audience is composed of students and members of academic staff, who provide a friendly environment for sharing ideas, peer-review and receiving feedback. The conference will use plagiarism (Turnitin or iThenticate) to verify the total similarity of written work is less than 20%, the researcher should send us a document with his research that verifies plagiarism percentage.

The "Electrical Engineering Technical College" was established on the 1st of June 1999, under the name of "College of Electrical and Electronic Techniques". The first academic year was 1999-2000. This college was the eighth in a series of colleges under Foundation of Technical Education and the first in this field of education in Iraq. .After establishing the Middle Technical University, the College was connected with it directly, and its name was changed to the current name "Electrical Engineering Technical College". The College has now four main departments: "Computer Techniques Engineering", "Electrical Power Techniques Engineering", "Medical Devices Techniques Engineering" and "Control and Automation Techniques Engineering".
